Support the West Niagara Theatre
In
Concert

This theatre is about you, our community.

A connected community is powerful. It can inspire shared experiences, friendships, important conversations, and creativity. The West Niagara theatre will be a place for you, your family, friends, and neighbours to come together, and connect.

Enjoying experiences together can help people bond. Whether it's a play, an influential speaker, a competition or a dance recital, the West Niagara Theatre is available to everyone in our community, and it will create memories that will stand the test of time.

Best of all? These memories will be made here in West Niagara, our home.

The West Niagara Theatre will be a
MODERN, INSPIRING
750+ SEAT VENUE
that will provide a space for creative activities of all kinds. To be located at the future home of West Niagara Secondary School, the theatre will be a
SHOWCASE FACILITY
that will support students and Community members alike and will be a key driver for the West Niagara economy by drawing in visitors.

Theatre builds community.

A shared space that centers on the arts has many benefits for our community. Research has identified that participation in the arts:

  • Develops community networks and encourages socialization
  • Reduces isolation by helping make friends
  • Creates a connection between the generations
  • Provides a forum for intercultural understanding
  • Promotes intercultural contact and co-operation
  • Inspires dialogue in the community

Investing in West Niagara.

How we invest our hard-earned money says a lot about what we value. By choosing to support the West Niagara Theatre, you will be an essential part of driving our economic development and strengthening our community.

This fundraiser's goal is to raise $2.6 million to bring this theatre to life. We have already received $4.2 million from the DSBN and fundraising will take us the rest of the way. With the expected economic benefits, this investment will be returned to the community many times over.

We are a vibrant community with a great deal to offer; we are proud of where we live and who we are. In concert with our community, the West Niagara Theatre will become another important piece of our history.
